Brook Museum Bench, 2016
A classic bench, designed for the Brooklyn Museum, takes inspiration from the gentle folds and drape of fabric. The seating surface curves into the metal frame, creating a soft, inviting look despite its sturdy materials. The top is crafted from kerfed plywood with a rich mahogany veneer, while the base is made from welded square tubing with a clear coat finish.
Exhibited in the lobby of the Brooklyn Museum (Spring 2017)
